They are always puzzled. Maybe it is because the theories they have can not predict these things.
Maybe it is a result of a collision Ish?
It seems that there is an outbreak of planets being hit, I sure hope Earth is not next.

It is an outbreak in observational technology advancement.
That -- and people are now expecting to see these things so they do.
Not sure if this spot fits the pattern. Should be black -- shouldn't it?

I thought the colour would depend on the elements the planet is made up of.
Could be wrong.
Maybe the picture was taken in a certain optical mode or it may be an artists impression. Will check it out when I am at work tomorrow.

How do you get a �scar� in thin air?
Jupiter is GAS giant composed of hydrogen and helium whose atmosphere whorls around at over 300 kph.
How can an impact scar the air and not dissipate instantly with 300 kph winds?
