The so-called 'flamingo demonstrations' have turned into the biggest mass protest since the fall of Albanian communism. If it turns into a full-on civil war, President Trump will surely be called on to apply his legendary peacemaking skills to this corner of the Balkans.
With Marco & Co busy with Iran and Cuba, he may have to send in his back-ups, Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner.

Even it is only a page, that could be sufficient, if we had the US, Iran, Israel and the Gulf States all signing up, to a general understanding.
My understanding is that this wont happen. It will be a US Iran deal.
This might not matter, but only if the region still accepts and finances the old paradigm that existed before the war, (a good one till it has gone wrong) , ie everybody gets rich, oil is priced in dollars, and its all protected by the US Navy, (shock and awe), US bases, weapon sales, all financed mainly by the Gulf States.
The problem for Wiley, is that experts are putting the cost of recreating the old paradigm in the $ hundreds of billions. Not cheap, but arguably doable, but then.....you still have a very real chance another war will flare up, in the near future, as it appears the outsanding causes of all this remain largely unsolved, and worse the US is simply incapable of managing this type of regional conflict in a balanced way, by restraining Israel.
Why recreate and pay hundreds of billions for a failed paradigm that is not in your interest......? Lack of imagination?

Israel hasn't signed, the Gulf States weren't asked, but I agree just stopping the war solves most problems.

My understanding is that it isn't a deal. Just a peace of exhaustion.

Sounds good to me.

What experts? What billions? A bit of rebuilding nobody will notice is all that's necessary. You won't notice anything's happened in a year's time.

What causes? Everything was tripping along fine before.

There I think there has been an improvement. Netanyahu is about to find out what it costs if you irritate the Great Man. I think the USA/Israel axis of evil is pretty much over.

You mean stop banging your head against a brick wall.
