ITs a "fire" word.

You might want to think about "or" = light in Hebrew.

Wile has an advantage when it comes to Darwinian selection.

A large hunters snout.

Unfortunately he cant always see beyond the end of it.

Lupe has convinced him the ur words are a variant of pure.

Pure River.

Both fire and water act as purifiers.

One of the early puzzles was links between fire river and zones.

The question is best formatted as follows.

Why do Dragons breathe fire?

A interesting question that you can easily solve, but.... the answer is not easily proved.....

So please dont ask .........

You are either interested in Dragons or you are not.

You can kill a serpent by spitting down its throat.....

Abraham was a son of Ur. Ur of the Chaldees. A "city" that remains unidentified even by orthodox account.

Probably because 'the Chaldees' is not a place. From our own good book:

A good reason to head for Winteringham is the nearby 'chalybeate springs', chalybeate meaning ferruginous, related to the Latin chalybs for tempered iron or steel. Chalybs refers to the Chalybes, aka the Chaldeans, people credited with the invention of commercial iron working and the rise of the Hittites of Anatolia, making yet another link between the Yorkshire Parisii and Old Troy in northern Anatolia.

The Chaldeans were also the great mathematicians of antiquity, credited with the concept of the 360 degree world circle. This presupposes a prime meridian. The present prime meridian leaves the North Pole and never touches land until it reaches Holderness in east Yorkshire, the area settled by the Parisii.

The Chaldeans appear to be linked to the mysterious Culdees, small groups of hermits and monks mainly in Scotland and Ireland who colonised remote islands. The Celtic Renaissance was the work of 'small groups of hermits and monks mainly in Scotland and Ireland who colonised remote islands'.

The Megalithic Empire makes it reasonably clear that "the Jews" aka the Abrahamites were originally Megalithics, which accounts inter alia for their weird dietary laws concerning the killing and eating of meat on the move, something Megalithic animal-drovers needed in contradistinction to sedentary people who had the leisure to hang meat properly.

The Jews in medieval times were depicted with money purses a la Hermes. Is that a megalithic hangover? They also wore pointed hats which is a little bit witchy/wizardy.

No one's really sure when or how the Jews arrived in Europe, so I'm beginning to wonder if they've just been here as long as everybody else.

Going out even further on the limb, I'm even beginning to wonder if the Druids and the Jews were actually one and the same people. The Druids being just a misinterpretation (or deliberate misrepresentation) of the European Jews by the Romans/Catholic church.

The fact that Jewish men were forced to wear pointed hats in medieval times to identify themselves suggests that they were ethnically similar enough that people couldn't tell the difference from just appearance alone. Also medieval Jews were often depicted with red hair - which again suggests they were European (although red hair isn't uncommon in the Middle East).

Medieval Jews were also accused of human sacrifice (the blood libel) as were the Druids.

The Wandering Jew also springs to mind. Maybe there are Megalithic undertones to that?

Yes, quite nifty, Scotty. Of course the Ashkenazim, being from Khazaria, would fit in well with the presumptively Anatolian Chaldees. But the Sephardim strike me as more your classical latterday Megalithics. I'm not quite sure why I included this footnote but it seemed to fit in at the time:

Biologists (and everybody else) think we can domesticate animals if we really wanted to but if this were the case we would have domesticated zebras pulling kiddies round zoos. The Second Baron Rothschild had zebras pulling his carriage but then the Rothschilds are an extremely Megalithic family.

Possibly hoping for sponsorship.

Red hair is extremely rare in the Middle East. After more than four years out there I knew one redhead, the daughter of one of the wealthiest banking families in Israel. Probably Scottish.

Scottish people and Jewish people both have a reputation for banking and a reputation for being stingy with money.

I've just ordered a book called When Scotland Was Jewish that promises to show that;

much of Scotland's history and culture from 1100 forward is Jewish. The authors provide evidence that much of the population, including several national heroes, villains, rulers, nobles, traders, merchants, bishops, guild members, burgesses, and ministers, was of Jewish decent.

Hopefully there'll be a few interesting bits n bobs in it.

I wonder if the authors use a technique that we employed -- what might be called creative re-branding. Basically, 'if the cap fits ...' The Conspiracy Theorists have been doing this too so, for example, the Templars get thrown out of France by Phillip IV, move to Scotland just in time to win the Battle of Bannockburn and Scottish independence ie they set up a Templar State complete with Roslyn Chapel etc etc ETC. Then take over England via the Stuarts etc etc ETC. Britain conquers the world etc etc ETC.

We might call Templars 'Megalithics' but this book would prolly call them 'Jews'.

Anyway, report back.

That is precisely what Fomenko says.

I've actually just started reading Fomenko, Ishmael. Some of the stuff you were posting up here inspired me to buy Chronology IV. It's my first taste of Fomenko and I'm about half way through it. It's fascinating.

It's really well-written and well-reasoned. Not what I was expecting considering some of the reviews. Everything he brings to the table is interesting and worth knowing. I'm starting to feel like I've been given a head start on anyone who hasn't read him.

I think I'll get III next and work backwards.

An odd choice.

III is the toughest book. Most of it is concerned with Egyptian horoscopes. I skipped almost all of it. I got the gist and the gist is all a non-specialist could hope to grasp.

However, the first part of Cron III is amazing! What he says about Copernicus will astonish you.

I read the books forward from I. I'm not sure you will find it makes as much sense in reverse order.

Hmm..

There is an accepted chronology for Fomenko's books. 1234?

Solar Calendars and Christian chronologies plunged the world into the Dark Ages.

In fact they help destroy the ME...

A minor reworking of orthodoxy aint gonna work....
