No Angus, more likely leg before wicket. There is no doubt that Harper slotted the ball past your wildly flailing bat.

Regarding the ice sheet, the Britice-Chrono NERC Consortium is currently trying to better define the extent and speed of melt.

They published a paper on this late last year and their best estimate is that it looked like this...
